HEY, I'M
MEHMET VARDAL
Multidisciplinary designer crafting visual stories across print & digital

It didn't start in a classroom. In high school, I was just a kid obsessed with editing photos in GIMP — layering images, tweaking colors, not fully understanding what I was doing but loving every second of it. I didn't know it then, but that was design.

When I got to college, I started out in liberal arts, exploring without a clear direction. Then I stumbled into a design course — just to see what it was about — and everything shifted. I switched my major and never looked back.

What keeps me here is the feeling of watching an idea become something real and visual. The moment a layout clicks, a concept lands, or a piece actually connects with the person looking at it — that's what I'm chasing. Design, to me, is problem-solving with a soul.

Outside the studio, I'm at the gym or traveling — both keep me grounded and, more often than I expect, end up influencing my work.

I'm currently open to internships, freelance opportunities, and collaborations.
